forrtl: severe (38): error during write, unit 0, file CONOUT$

先前的问题描述什么的在这篇文章里arcgis 9.3 安装中出现的问题解决

虽然把locate改成English能解决问题 但是 系统中文却又乱码了

继续Google之····

发现的解决方法是升级Visual Fortran runtime

很麻烦的在www.hp.com注册了个DSPP account 才能下载Visual Fortran runtime

有好几个版本 我用了N66BI.exe  （点此下载N66BI.exe download）

装完在arcgis安装目录里找到DFORRT.DLL 将之改名备份就可以了 不需要将system32里的拷贝过来 arcmap运行时直接从system32里找DFORRT.DLL了

据网上说这个问题是arcmap的bug

PS. There is a bug NIM001485 registered for 9.1 SP1 back in 03/08/2006. Synopsis:

Current version of Dforrt.dll, fortran runtime library (6.0.612.101) in ArcGISbin folder should be updated with a new version (6.6.925.102).

But it seems that product managers at ESRI forget about that.
